LP Print Shops
For screen printers & growing print shops
Yesterday: 500 shirts per order.
Today: 25 shirts, and the same setup.
Customers order smaller runs, more often, with more designs. In screen printing every job still needs films, screens and registration for every colour, so the setup lands on fewer shirts. Price it in and you lose the job. Leave it out and you lose the margin.
aeoon industrial DTG has no setup per job. Ten shirts or five hundred, same workflow, so small orders become work you can price with confidence again.
- Made in Austria since 2011
- GOTS & OEKO-TEX approved water-based inks
- Built for multi-shift production

Your setup cost on every shirt today$4.804 screens × $30 = $120 setup on 25 shirts
With aeoon DTG: no setup per job. Your print cost per shirt depends on garment, design size and ink coverage. We calculate it with your designs in a livestream.
Setup cost per screen includes films, coating, exposure, registration and reclaiming per screen. Setup only, without ink, garment and labour.
What changes in your shop
Small orders are not the problem. Setup is.
Order sizes are shrinking across the industry. Here is what that does to a screen printing shop, and what it looks like with an aeoon system on the floor.
Pricing
Ten shirts barely cover the setup. You quote high and lose the job, or quote low and lose the margin.
No setup per job, so the order size no longer dictates your price. You can quote ten pieces as confidently as five hundred.
Lost customers
Small orders, reorders and personalised pieces went to online print-on-demand shops.
Win them back with short runs, fast reorders straight from the file and names or numbers on every piece, made in your own shop.
Setup
Films, screens, exposure and registration, for every colour, before the first shirt is printed.
Load the file and print. The first shirt off the machine is a finished product, not a test.
Colours
Every extra colour means another screen and another cost. Photos and gradients are a problem.
Full colour at no extra setup, including gradients and photo prints. Gamut expansion colours bring prints closer to RGB designs and Pantone references.
Growth
More volume meant more presses, more people, more space.
Start with Smart Factory ONE and grow to PRO or FLOW in the same ecosystem. Machine, pretreatment and software from one partner.
Keep the long runs. Win back the short ones.
Screen printing is still hard to beat for very long runs of simple designs, and that is where your prices hold. Adding DTG doesn't mean scrapping your presses. Move the jobs that hurt your margin to DTG: short runs, many colours, personalised pieces, reorders.
In a livestream we go through your real job mix and show where the line sits for your shop.

Questions print shops ask us
Can I really make money on 10 or 20 piece orders?
Without setup per job, the cost per shirt no longer depends on the order size. What it is depends on the garment, design size and ink coverage. In a livestream we calculate it with your designs and your real order sizes, so you know your price before you invest.
Does DTG pay off next to my screen printing?
It depends on your job mix. DTG earns its place on short runs, multi-colour designs and personalisation, where screen setup eats your margin. Long runs of simple designs often stay on the press.
Do I need to pretreat garments?
For dark garments, yes. On Smart Factory ONE and PRO, pretreatment is built into the machine, so one operator runs pretreatment, printing and heat fixation. Smart Factory FLOW uses a separate PTB pretreatment line, so pretreatment never becomes the bottleneck. We help you pick the setup that fits your volumes.
Is the software included?
Yes. Every Smart Factory package includes the print software and the Milow production software. Milow is licensed monthly by connected stations, and the first three months are included from commissioning. More about Milow →
Which garments can I print?
Cotton, cotton blends and polyester. Order the free sample box and choose the material you want to see printed.
Are the inks safe and sustainable?
aeoon uses water-based pigment inks approved by GOTS and OEKO-TEX.
