Kyocera and aeoon Technologies strengthen their collaboration for even better DTG printing results with a multi-million off-take agreement.

Japanese printhead manufacturer Kyocera and Austrian digital press manufacturer aeoon Technologies have decided to invest in their partnership with the aim of further improving their products and delivering even better results for their customers.
Background
aeoon has been relying on Kyocera’s KJ4B-QA for its industrial digital textile printing machines for many years. It is the hard-wearing design of this printhead model that makes it resistant to dirt and dust. It also allows for a high print width. The KJ4B-QA printhead has already proven itself in the industry and has been one of the leading products in its category for years.
aeoon’s DTG printing machines stand out not only for their durability, sturdy construction and speed, but also for their exceptionally high print quality.
A partnership built on quality and longevity
Kyocera is a leading manufacturer of printheads, having launched its inkjet printhead operations in 2007. The company has been a fixture in the thermal printhead market since 1983. Both companies set great store by the quality and durability of their products and exclusively use high-quality components.

The versatility of the aeoon Kyo series
The aeoon Kyo series, fitted with Kyocera KJ4B printheads, is a modular and adaptable DTG printing machine system. The high-end digital printers are designed, developed and produced exclusively at aeoon’s headquarters in Kramsach, Austria. The printer offers enhanced CMYK colour accuracy and, if required, the colour gamut can be expanded by up to four additional process colours (Gamut Expansion Colours).
The aeoon Kyo series is easy to integrate into automated production processes and can be equipped with a wide variety of paletts for almost any textile size up to a maximum of 200 x 98 cm. aeoon offers its customers the widest variety of paletts currently available on the market. (These are also developed solely at the company’s Austrian headquarters, meaning that customised designs can be produced at any time). A highlight of the Kyo PLUS series are the integrated heat presses, which make it possible to print onto the textiles inside the machine itself. This saves not only time but also personnel costs.
